Tom Kirzeder

My name is Tom Kirzeder.

I was born and raised in Crosby, and after all these years, I still can't imagine a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

My path to real estate wasn't exactly a straight line. I grew up swinging a hammer alongside my dad, Jim, earned a degree from St. John's University, and spent 20 years working in construction — from solar installation to high-end residential builds to roofing and exterior projects. Along the way, I picked up certifications in residential energy auditing, residential contracting, and home inspection. Basically, if it involves a house, I've probably worked on one.

That background is actually what pulled me into real estate. Friends, family, and past clients kept calling me to tag along on home inspections when they were thinking about buying. I'd walk through properties, spot the things that needed a closer look, and find myself thinking — I could really help people here. So I got my license and haven't looked back.

For the past three years, I've been helping buyers find quality homes and guiding clients through every step of the transaction process. I also specialize in helping sellers get their homes "list ready" — identifying and addressing potential issues before they ever hit the market, so they don't become costly surprises during negotiations later on. It's an edge that comes straight from my construction background, and my clients feel the difference.

My wife, Marit, and I are raising our four kids — Cora, Emily, Wesley, and Charles — right here in the Cuyuna Lakes Area, so this community genuinely means everything to me.

You might still catch me in a tool belt from time to time — because I'll never stop loving the swing of a hammer. But these days, that tool belt carries a lot more than just a hammer and a tape measure. It holds everything I need to help guide you toward a successful real estate transaction.
